The french divemaster qualification (level 4 FFESSM) represents the first level of executive. You’ll be trained to safely guide divers, of all levels, by exploring diving sites up to 40metres deep.
This demanding federal training is open to level-3 divers with RIFAP qualification. It demands a high degree of personal investment in terms of technical, theoretical and physical preparation and also an absolute attendance record throughout the training period and the examination.
For each of the sessions organised by our centre, we offer an intensive 12-day training course, also a “short” 5-day course which corresponds to the second week of training. The following examination takes place over two days.
The “short” course is reserved for those divers who have already completed the training programme but who were unable to take the exam, or did not pass it. Candidates wishing to sign up for the “short” course must present abilities A1, A2 and A3 as defined in the FFESSM’s technical training manual, and according to the current relevant federal regulations from the RSE.
For the 2018 season, training/exam sessions are planned as follows:
– April 22 – May 3 (“short” course from April 29 – May 3), with examination May 4-5;
– October 21 – November 1 (“short” course from October 28 – November 1), with examination November 2-3.
Other sessions can be organized on demande according to our activity and subject to a sufficient number of participants.
Do please contact us to discuss availability, suitability and to take stock of your personal readyness.
You’ll find below: the application form, which needs to be returned to us by post at least 2months before the start of the course; the Corsica CTR (regional technical committe) examination topics; and the full schedule of your training course.
